WP theme: Moonlight

Well folks, it’s time for my first WordPress Theme, inspired by one of my favorite TV shows: Moonlighting.

Moonlight is a simple 2 columns WordPress theme, but since this is my first one, it is possible to have some minor bugs. If you find some problems, I wouldn’t mine too see them in your comments.

Moonlight Features:

• Valid xhtml code
• 2 columns
• Widgets ready sidebar
• Simple design
• Completlly FREE

Before activating this theme, maybe you should know that:

• This theme is in BETA
• This theme uses some PNG’s with transparency, so IE6 will not show them as it should
• The theme is tested on Firefox 3, IE 7 and IE 6
• The subcategories doesn’t look too good on IE
• The code is not so clean (yet)

Installing Moonlight: Extract the theme files into your “wp-content/themes” directory and activate it through your Dashboard.

Live demo: For now, this blog it’s the best place to view it.

Please feel free to use this theme and if you choose to modify this theme in any way, I would appreciate it if you could keep my credits in the stylesheet and a link in the footer.

UPDATES: As I said before, this theme is in BETA and it still needs some adjustments, so from time to time, I will try to make those adjustments. Therefore, here’s what I’ve changed recentlly:

• The block quote is now showed properly
• The navigation links are now fixed and more styled
• The sidebar boxes are much more cooler now
• I’ve also added some minor text improvements

You can also Preview and Download Moonlight theme directly from the WordPress themes directory.
